Trigger Actions with Salesforce Workflows

Prerequisite

  1. Enable the integration from the Salesforce Integrations page.

  2. Enable the workflow as required.

Follow the below steps to use workflows in Salesforce whenever a trigger condition is met:

  1. Click on Setup Workflows on Salesforce.

  2. From the following screen, select the required workflow. As the workflow names suggest:

    1. You can create or update the account in Salesforce

    2. You can create or update the respective respondent’s contact details in Salesforce

    3. You can create or update the lead details in Salesforce

    4. You can create or update an opportunity in Salesforce

    5. You can record a response against the respective respondent contact in Salesforce

    6. You can create notes or add attachments within the respective respondent contact in Salesforce

    7. You can create a task for the respective respondent contact in Salesforce

  3. Based on your selection, you must fill out a set of fields.

  4. Click on Apply & Save.

  5. The action card will be created. You can edit and delete anytime in the future.

  6. To activate the trigger, ensure that your trigger status is turned ON by clicking on the toggle at the top-right corner.
