Manage Kiosk from Dropthought Mobile App (Remote control center)

Managing kiosks using the Dropthought Enterprise app is streamlined and user-friendly. From the Settings page, you can easily place kiosk tabs across multiple locations, monitor their status, and manage associated programs. This guide will help you navigate the key options for efficient Dropthought kiosk management.

View Linked Kiosks

Upon linking a kiosk, you can view and manage it from the Dropthought Enterprise App. Follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to your Dropthought Enterprise app.

  2. Go to the Settings page.

Note: Only if your role has this access permission will you find this setting upon logging in

  1. Click on the "Manage Kiosk" page.

  2. Below, you'll see the option to link a kiosk. After linking, you can view all the programs linked to each kiosk and their online/offline status.

Manage Kiosk

Dropthought allows you to manage a linked Kiosk using the mobile app. Here are the key features of kiosk management.

Click the small arrow dropdown next to each program to access these options:

  • Stop Collecting Feedback

  • Rename Kiosk

  • Change Program

  • View Activity Log

  • Unlink Kiosk

  • Spam avoidance

  • Response Quota limit

How to use the feature?

Stop Collecting Feedback

This feature allows you to manage collecting feedback for the survey. 

  1. Click on Stop Collecting Feedback.

  2. From the following pop-up, confirm the action by clicking on Yes. You will no longer receive any responses from this program.

  3. The button will change to Start Collecting Feedback.

  4. Click on it to resume collecting feedback.

Rename Kiosk

This option allows you to change your program's name. 

Please ensure to provide a unique name for the Kiosk.

If you have a duplicate name, you will be prompted.

Change Program:

You can switch programs remotely using this feature from the mobile app.

  1. Click on "Change Program" from the dropdown menu.

  1. You can view all available programs.

  2. Select any program according to your preference.

  3. Click Next, and you will be prompted to confirm in the pop-up.

  4. Click Yes, and proceed.

This will change the Kiosk program.

View Activity Log:

On this page, you can view if your program is online or offline, check kiosk login and logout times, and view the last active date and time.

Unlink Kiosk:

Use this feature to disconnect a program from a specific kiosk.

Spam Avoidance

Block repeated feedback submissions from the same kiosk device within a set time frame.

This status with a timer will be displayed within Remote Control Centre.

You can manage the spam avoidance from the web app.

Response Quota Limit

The kiosk will show a "quota limit reached" screen when the survey reaches its response quota.

This status will be displayed on the remote control centre.
