Link Kiosk - An Overview

After downloading the Kiosk app, you need to link it to your organization’s Dropthought account. You can use the Dropthought Enterprise App to link a Kiosk.

Methods to Link New Kiosk

 There are two methods to link your kiosk:

1. Scan QR

Scanning a QR code displayed on the kiosk app using the Dropthought Enterprise Mobile app will instantly link the kiosk to the respective organization account. It's easy and quick!

2. Token ID 

(This is used for the remote management to link your kiosk)

Using a Token ID in remote management, kiosk managers can easily update or change surveys without physically accessing the kiosk. 

Note

1. The QR Code and Token ID are time-sensitive. They expire after 5 minutes. After that, you can refresh your page, and a new QR code and Token ID will be generated.

2. The CS team set a limit on the number of kiosks that can be managed using remote management. You will be prompted upon reaching the limit.

In such a scenario, you must remove an existing kiosk to add a new one.

Otherwise, you can also reach out to the CS team and increase the kiosk limit for your account.

View Linked Kiosks

Upon linking a kiosk, you can view and manage it from the Dropthought Enterprise App. Follow the below steps:

1. Log in to your Dropthought Enterprise app.

2. Go to the Settings page.

3. Click on the "Manage Kiosk" page.

4. Below, you'll see the option to link a kiosk. After linking, you can view all the programs linked to each kiosk and their online/offline status.

5. Click on Link New Kiosk and use any of the two methods to link a new kiosk to your organization’s Dropthought account.
