Link Dropthought Kiosk by Scanning QR Code

One method of linking a Kiosk is scanning the QR code using the Dropthought Enterprise App. This enables you to manage the kiosk remotely using the mobile app.

Pre-requisite:

  1. Download the Kiosk App on your Android tablet or iPad.

  2. You should be the administrator of your organization’s Dropthought account.

  3. Download and log in to your Dropthought Enterprise Account to link to a kiosk.

Step 1: Find QR Code on Kiosk App

Follow the below steps to find QR Code to link your Kiosk device to your organization’s Dropthought account:

  1. Go to the Dropthought Kiosk App.

  2. From the login screen, look for Link Kiosk for Remote Management beneath where you enter your login details.

  3. Clicking on that option will trigger a pop-up guiding you to link your kiosk for remote management.

  4. You will find a QR code and a Token ID.

Step 2: Scan the QR Code using Dropthought Enterprise App

Follow the below steps to complete the process of linking your kiosk using this method:

  1. Log in to the Dropthought Enterprise App using your Dropthought login credentials.

  2. Click on the three dots from the bottom left corner of the screen.
    You will be redirected to the Setting page. 

  3. Click on Manage Linked Kiosks.

  1. From the following screen, click on Link New Kiosk.

  2. Use the scanner on the following screen to scan the QR code from the Kiosk App.

You will be prompted upon successfully linking the Kiosk App to your Organization’s Dropthought Account.
