Slack helps you quickly connect and collaborate with coworkers, whether they're in your organization or not. You can chat with anyone and work together in specific channels designed for different topics or projects.

Integrating Slack with Dropthought allows you to link the Dropthought account to their Slack account. Thus, you can get instant notifications on the programs you manage on the desired Slack channel or as personal notifications, enhancing user experience by facilitating seamless communication and data sharing.

Enable Integration

Follow the below steps to enable the integration:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab.

  1. Click on the Slack logo. You can view the available workflows below the app’s logo.  

  2. Click on Connect now to get started with enabling the integration.

  3. From the following pop-up, click on Connect.

  1. Follow the steps guided by Workato from the following screen to complete the integration process.

  1. Upon successful integration, the popup from ''Connect now'' will vanish, and a red "Disconnect" button will replace the "Connect now" button.

You can now start using workflows. Learn more.

Disable Integration

Follow the below steps to disable the integration:

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from the enable integration section.

  2. Click on Disconnect to disable the integration.

  3. You will be prompted to confirm. Click on Disconnect to continue.

Note: Upon disconnecting Slack, all active workflows will be deactivated.
